Taking a Toilet

So Mabel is almost 2 1/2 years old and still refuses to have anything to do with the toilet...until now. Yesterday she went for the first time on her little princess potty. She wanted ice cream, so I told her if she went on the toilet, I would buy her ice cream. So she sat on the toilet -- it took about 20 minutes, but she finally went. YEAH!!! She hasn't gone since, but at least it is a start. She calls it taking a toilet -- I think she gets it from taking a bath. Anyway, finally there is at least interest. Maybe by the time she is 3, she will be trained.
