Grandmother had new cement poured by the lodge and we all put our hands (or in Hattie's case foot) in the cement. Here's our little family:

We were in Missouri on the 4th of July. On Saturday, July 3rd, they had a Willard Town Parade. It went right past the house of my Aunt and Uncle, so we watched it in their front yard. Mabel stood in one place waving a little American Flag and saying "USA, USA" the entire time - which had to have been about a half hour. It was so funny. People kept throwing candy at her and occasionally she would pick up a piece, but mostly she was intent on cheering on the USA.

Mabel went for a tractor ride on Uncle Roy's tractor.

Fred and I got to go to Grizzly (an amazing tool store). This is the grizzly bear they had in the store. Isn't Mabel so cute!
