A friend of ours did a week long cheerleading camp for girls. Mabel participated. She would go each day and learn cheers for a couple hours and then have an hour of swimming time.
At the end of the week, the girls gave a little show of the cheers they learned.
The teacher then passed out an award to each child - some got best dancer
or highest jumper, etc. Mabel got the Best Swimmer Award. Her teacher said,
Mabel tried the cheers, but loved the swimming....so at Cheer Camp, Mabel was the best swimmer.
I thought it was hilarious, however, I don't mind at all that Mabel isn't a great Cheerleader.....that is okay with me.
